I don’t know if it's a good or bad thing but I have much more ideas than I could possibly implement and I'm not disciplined enough to stick to one genre. I like all of them so I just make music and don’t think so much about what it is. That always makes it a pain to publish the music. Then I have to decide what genre it is and specify what it sounds like. My music is just what happens when I move my fingers over the keys of the piano. Often I don’t know what is going on. I get surprised every time it sounds good.
My name is Magnus. It’s both my given name and my artist name. Magnus is even my registered swedish trademark. However - there are other artists and bands in the rest of the world calling themselves Magnus. So to distinguish them from me I call myself Magnus of Sweden.
I’m not an instrumentalist. I just love to play. I just love to create music and the piano is my main tool for that. I don’t know how I do it. I play the best when I don’t think. I feel it and just let the fingers do the job. And I listen. Often I sit by the piano playing without broadcasting or recording anything. With no audience at all. I love the piano. I love it as a furniture as well. A black grand piano in a large room with a view is overwhelming.
